Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of medicalbillingandcoding.services (the “Website”), operated by MBCS (“we”, “us”). By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. The Website and our services

The Website describes our medical billing, coding and revenue cycle management services and lets you request an assessment or contact us. Using the Website or submitting a form does not create a client relationship. Our services are provided only under a separate written services agreement and, where patient information is involved, a signed Business Associate Agreement. If those agreements conflict with these Terms, those agreements govern.

2. Information only, not professional advice

Guides, glossary entries, FAQs, code explanations and other Website content are general information. They are not legal, tax, financial, compliance or clinical advice, and payer rules and code sets change often. Confirm requirements with the payer, current official code sets and your own advisers before acting.

3. Estimates and examples

Any calculator, sample dashboard or example figure on the Website is an illustration based on assumptions. It is not a quote, a result achieved for a client, or a promise of future results. Collections and reimbursement depend on payers, documentation, patient mix and many other factors outside our control. Pricing is confirmed in writing in a proposal.

4. Your use of the Website

You agree not to:

  • submit patient information or other protected health information through the Website
  • submit false information or information you have no right to share
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems, or interfere with its operation
  • use automated tools to submit forms or scrape the Website in a way that burdens it
  • use the Website for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual property

The Website’s content, design, text and graphics are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for your own internal business use. Any other copying, distribution or modification requires our written permission. CPT® is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners, and their use does not imply endorsement.

6. Third-party links

The Website links to third-party sites such as payer, CMS and other government resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Website or its content.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the Website.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
