NPI & Payer Disclosures
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Who we are
MBCS is a medical billing, coding and revenue cycle management company. We are not a healthcare provider, an insurance company, a clearinghouse, or a law firm. We do not provide medical, legal or tax advice.
NPI and billing on your behalf
- We submit claims on behalf of our clients, using our clients’ own National Provider Identifiers (NPIs), tax identification numbers and payer enrollments. We do not bill under our own NPI for client services.
- Providers remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their clinical documentation and for the services billed under their NPI. We code and bill from the documentation our clients provide, and we query providers when documentation is unclear. We do not assign codes that the documentation does not support.
- Where we act as an authorised billing agent, we do so under a written agreement with the provider and with the payer enrollments the provider authorises.
- Payer payments are deposited directly into our clients’ bank accounts. We do not receive or hold client reimbursements.
No affiliation with payers or government agencies
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), any Medicare Administrative Contractor, any state Medicaid program, or any commercial insurer. Payer names appear on this Website only to describe the work we do. Payers decide coverage and payment; we cannot guarantee that any claim will be paid or any appeal will succeed.
Examples, estimates and figures
- Dashboards and figures labelled “Example” or “Sample” are illustrations, not results achieved for a client.
- The revenue estimator shows what-if estimates based on the assumptions displayed with it. It is not a quote, an audit or a promise of results.
- Industry statistics are attributed to their source where shown. Results for any practice depend on its payers, specialty, documentation, patient mix and starting point.
Code sets and payer rules
Code descriptions, payer policies and regulatory information on this Website are general guidance, accurate to the best of our knowledge when published, and may change. Always check the current official code sets and payer policies.
